I am one of many many veterans on this website. I want to thank you for taking the time to remember us. It means something when you do. Some will tell you, some won't. I was truly blessed that I came home in one piece. Many didn't. I still remember the look on her face and the tone in her voice when a mother told me my good friend from school wasn't coming home. That was over 50 years ago and I can still see her standing there. It haunted her and his Dad for the rest of their lives. Some gave all.
