Henderson, still worth the drive
Tried to go to Bayou Benoit yesterday but a bridge out, and a long detour saw me change plans and go to Henderson. Got there after 10:00, but had an idea where fish might be. My second stop started producing a few nice fish. Kept 12. I caught the biggest fish in about 3-4 f.o.w. around laydowns. I did catch a few in water 7-8 deep away from bank popping a jig under a cork. Not many people there, a lot bass fishing...water is moving but still rising and clear. The two fish I took pictures of were just under 15 inches long, most were in 9-10 inch range. Considering how late I got there, not a bad trip.Attachment 387423
