I came down to Forth Worth from Alabama for the weekend and ask him the best lake I could take my nephew to wet a line. He graciously told me about a place outside of Forth Worth citing it's better a better place for bank fishermen. We didnt catch big fish but stayed busy and brought some bigger ones home for dinner. they aint always big there but to be sure if you want dinner and scenery its pretty tough to beat
money well spent and I see you found "my" best spot ....:yikes
3 years ago I landed an 18 inch fish off that fishing dock .
had to walk her back to that rocky shoreline and climb down to get her .
thats a pretty high in the air puppy to sling crappie up on .
there are big fish in there ,but its mostly a high numbers lake .
I am really really happy yawl got into a few over there .:cheers2

it warms my heart to think they got a few for dinner and made a few memories for sure . but the spots i like are really not a big secret , i just dont go lake naming on the internet to rally up my locations with the internet spot hunters , a sincere question in a pm and i will give up specifics on the whole enchilada . but to go give it up to the general public and send the masses to where i visit isnt my thing .:cheers2Quote:
