age 79, gave up bass tournaments and signed up for my first crappie tournament at carlyle sept.12 ,have never crappie fished that lake but i get to fish with my son so it should be fun.

had good luck in tournament 2nd place lost by 3 oz. caught over a 100 crappie but needed a balance beam or good scales ,hard to look at crappie and tell which is the heavist. ordered a balance beam in case we fish another tournament.
