Laura

Laura is currently 100 miles SSE of the mouth of the Calcasieu River with winds of 150MPH ( CAT4). It is expected to make landfall there at about 2:00 am. Hurricane winds are expected to be felt all the way to Freshwater City, LA, with a storm surge of up to 20'.

Praying for all the souls along the Louisiana Gulf Coast.

I'm in E. Texas and we will get a glancing blow here it looks like. 90mph wind gusts with sustained winds around 80 they say. I hope she's a fast mover. Pray for those in her path, Laura is a bad one.

We ate lunch in Huntington yesterday on our way to Crockett only to find out the management had already rented our cabin to someone else, next closes room available was in Henderson Tx.
