LEGENDARY ! I am talking EPIC !
We went for a little truck ride to our place in the country . We played with the stick bugs and the grasshoppers and did some sight seeing . The wife and daughter wanted to count deer and count they did . I told her drop me off at that dock over there and be back in 45 minutes . Its WAY to hot to stay long but while we are in the area I just have to pitch a jig .
So we roll up there and everyone changes seats . I ambled down the ole walkway and first drop before they could EVEN pull off >>>>
KABOOM flying fish time ! They rolled the window down and started up with the WOW first pitch and as I took a photo I yelled back watch this ladies , this is gunna be EPIC !
I started in on them and they bit EVERY DROP , the ladies pulled off at around 4 or 5 in a row and it NEVER stopped . I mean you could only dream of such a bite so fast . 7 foot down in 10 to 11 foot of water and you best be ready to set the hook !
The final count was only 32 in 45 minutes though as I missed a few and had a few issues getting some of the really large fish up with the small rod . The day ended when they rolled up and as luck would have it ,right when the truck stopped up on the hill , I lost the Plain and Simple number 2 1/32 ball head sickle hook in silver with a straight milky pearl plastic I was using . Didn't even bother to tie another on as it was hot as blazes at 3:45 and still just as hot at 4:30 . Besides all that I was covered in fish slime and bleeding and my thumb was all chewed up ! :yikes
The final count on deer they saw was 19 and not a buck in the bunch . To say it was unreal the amount of larger crappie under that dock is an understatement and to be just as sure man did it hit the spot . The fish all got to swim on and down the rode we went .
It don't git much better yawl ,to say it was LEGENDARY is not even a good description . And in the end and as always >>>>
