Kayak Trip Report, Madison County Lake

I fished Madison County Lake today from daylight till about 11:00. Not much to report, kept four and returned one larger Crappie were all caught casting. There were fish all over in eight to fifteen feet of water, but I didn't have any luck spider rigging. The water was 80 degrees at daylight and had warmed to 82 by the time I left, visibility of about two feet.

Lake manager said the bass have moved to the brush piles and anglers had been do really well. Not sure if that may have displaced the Crappie.
