I paint mine with nail polish also. Plenty of colors to choose from and adding a glitter coat gives them a unique look.
I use it frequently tying flies. Sally Hanson's hard as nails makes an excellent clear coat.
Yup fingernail polish gets it done for me. Although I have been giving some thought to powder coat lately.

Used nail polish 30 years ago to paint jig heads, works very well and easy to get.
Been using nail polish for years on many different baits.
Wife calls it my makeup case.
I call it my jig case.

I have used it on my pinmins. Does a great job. I do not sell these anymore. I have posted many videos on my channel on how to make them.

I use nail polish on my weedless heads....afraid if I heat them it will melt the weed guard. I use powder coat on the non weedless heads. Bottom line, they both work. So do unpainted heads, so maybe I do it for my amusement. :dono
