8/20 Raccoon

on water at 7:15 off at 12:15, caught 55 total 52 Crappie and 3 White bass ended up keeping 22..today they were in 12-22 ft of water hit monkeytruese and Sparkling Wanda shad bodies on 1/32 oz jig heads.. had 31 fishing in boat by 10:30.
Water temp was 79-80 deg and fish were hitting pretty aggressive had jigs in back of throat a lot of the time. A lot of people on lake on lake by 10:30 this morning making it hard to fish.
Also for some reason today the fish started to die, havent had a problem even when it was hotter out so not sure why today. Had to drain live well and just put ice from cooler in with them till got home.
No big fish most 9-10 inches with 4-5 11.5 inchers.

ah, Killer it is! :Rofl I just got my 32 cal scope’d and sighted in. Can’t see the rifle sights anymore with bifocals. Pain in the a#@s to get old! :ThumbsUp

I took out my little custom built inline .32 Tues and killed 3 with it..love hunting with muzzleloaders and air rifles. I cant see open sights either every gun i own is scoped.

Same same for me...last year was my last year with open sights...been sighting in 3 rifles with scopes past couple weeks,,,I’m totally smoke poles on shotties/ rifles and a 50 cal pistol for hunting. Been burning a lot of powder lately! :ThumbsUp
