I miss out timber, we use to have so much and now it's all gone. When they flooded this lake most of it was National Forrest and when full, you couldn't see very far at most places, lol! Didn't need boat lane markers as you just went where the trees were not, lol!

Fork was that way when it opened ,,,,it wasnt a lake , it was flooded forest with lanes cut in it

Thats a big 10-4 sir. Im on those trees like stink on you know what. Where I fish it'll stay that way into September. Then they start making those early fall maneuvers,and I have to tinker with the tactics.

yes sir , they love wood in the late summer here in Texas
even big ole pilings on docks , bait seems to congregate well on the wood this time of year .
and the crappie stay near :cheers2
