Was throwing a Megabass Pop-X tonight for bass. On the first cast I got a hit. But it was a bluegill. Gotta love it.

sometimes a bluegill can be a mean ole fish
i had one chase a jig down a while back and slam the fire out of it right when i tried to take it from the water

in ponds where there are somewhat limited opportunities i have seen some fish get pretty creative
one pond i used to hit had white crappie in it that would CHASE down a spinnerbait and slam it like a bass :cheers2
