Fireline Crystal 2# vs 4# casting distance difference with 1/64 oz Jig Heads?

I'm wanting to try some braid and to pick up some 2# Fireline Crystal for casting 1/64 & 1/32 oz Jig Heads but can only currently find the 4# locally.

I'm not too concerned about the distance with 1/32 oz, but wondering if anyone knows if there would be any discernible loss of distance using the 4# Fireline Crystal, vs the 2# for casting the 1/64 oz jigs?

The 2# is 0.003 in. / 0.07 mm dia.

The 4# is 0.005 in. / 0.12 mm dia.

Apprecate any input you might have to offer.

Yes, I have both of those lines, and there's a big difference between the 2 lb and the 4 lb especially if you're casting 1/64 ounce jig. Amazon has the 2 lb Crystal.

2 lb line is needed for the lighter jigs. Nanofil has the best cast but has NO abrasion resistance. The fireline is much tougher. I still use a 4lb leader for abrasion and retying. The smaller jigs are lots of fun and worth the trouble, in my book.
