A bass showed its ugly face at one point , but for the most part the bluegill we went after lost quite a few companions to a cooler climate .
It was a family bluegill ketchn day and it went rather well and the local crappie were not in the crosshairs ,but .....
I must admit I did pitch my jig over by an old brush pile a few times ,so in essence I guess you could say I got skunked :yikes :Rofl
Every now and then you gotta change it up! My “other woman” in the fishing game is trout.

Family and Gills, no better way to spend the day. Glad to hear some were relocated to the ice chest, best eating you can get!
When he fishes here at the slip he mainly catches baby gills to use in our fish tacos that night. When he fishes with his wife and daughter he has pictures of nice bull gill. Makes me wonder who the real fisherpeople are in his family. :Rofl
