Looking at a new boat......

I’m looking at purchasing a new boat for striper fishing on lake Cumberland and crappie fishing everywhere else.. I’ve narrowed it down to these 3, my previous boat was a Tracker 175WT.
the boat has to have a windshield and enclosure for winter fishing and keeping us dry( I’m getting old)

sea ark pro cat 200, most expensive

G3 sportsman 1910, cheapest of the 3, 5k cheaper, only motor option is a Yamaha

excel storm cat 210, this is a nice boat, 2nd most expensive, but has any motor option I’m looking at a Suzuki

anyone have any actual experience with either boat?

You can't go wrong with a SeaArk. They are really built.

A guy in my neighborhood has a huge SeaArk catfish boat, they are really nice boats.

I just picked up a 2014 Tracker Pro Guide v175 SC, and I'm assuming your 175 is also the Pro Guide series. For as big as my boat is (and it's huge), the storage is lacking. I don't have experience with any of the boats you've mentioned, but keep an eye out for storage. (the v175 SC has had storage added to it since 2014 -- not a lot for things like tackle and anchors, but more small areas of storage. It's strange to me (coming from bass boats) to be working out of a tackle bag while on my own boat.

I also assume that all boats now come with a "track" system like Tracker has with the Versatrack, but it's really nice to be able to add things to the boat without drilling. I don't have the enclosure option that the WT and combo models do, but I'm already looking at bimini tops :)

Get a hold of M R Dux. He has lots of info on the Storm Cat and Suzukis. PM him...

As far as the outboard, I've owned Suzuki, Yamaha and several others. Suzuki is the best outboard I've ever owned in all aspects. Yamaha runs second.

Have you looked at the G3 sportsman 2400? or the Crestliner bay 2200 or the Ranger RB200?
