Had the boat hooked up and ready to go this morning but decided not to when I looked at the radar. Should have gone. Still hasn’t rained there.

Jig...I was in Morganza Thursday night and everything I heard was negative! Talk to a friend that has some hoop nets out and he said he’s not catching any in his nets! (When he does he throws them back of course) It’s kinda crazy, but when he catches in his nets usually people catch on jigs and shiners...dono!
But I had a friend that did really good this morning in Maringouin bayou...which usually means Sorrel and “Disney world” is good also..!!

I took a ride today to go see myself just after a a big rain and the porch was full, no one I talked with had a good report on sacalait but perch and small catfish were biting. Seam like we all had the same idea.
