I hooked something not once but twice today that ripped over 350’ of 30# braid off my reel the first time and the second one didn’t stop till he had over 500’ of line and turned the boat sideways. The closes I got to seeing what it was was a boil on the surface about as big as a wash tub. One broke and the other one straightened a #6 treble hook. Good thing the Sac A Lait were biting to keep my mind off these monsters. This trip today was to try out some crank baits that I painted and never had to change baits all morning.
