Lookin' good! That will be a darn good set-up. And, I'm glad you got one of those high dollar seats for your back. They say that's the best seat your butt can ever touch in a boat. Hope it helps you stay on the lake a little longer without too much back-ache.
I can't really tell from the angle of the pic, but one bit of advice. Get as close to those pole holders as possible. If need be, you can get one of those risers with the "S" in it to help get you closer without mounting another seat base. It will really help your back when you get into 'em if you can just reach down and pick up the pole without bending over too much.
Other than that, enjoy! That dog will sure hunt, but be sure to give us another updated pic when you get some poles in those holders and a nice view of the water in the background...
Sweet looking set up for sure. Did you make the rod holders and if so are they coated with some type of rubber? From the looks of them they look like another members from the board that were made out of PVC.
That's a real nice set up Creekslick, I bet you can't wait to try it out. What place are you going to hit first?
Really nice setup slick. Bet that will look awsome with some poles sticking out the front!
Yes I made them. They are made from 6" PVC. I have some rods that have cork handles that were being fuffed up so I coated the ends of the holders with plastic dip.Quote:

But, I would really like to give these holders an overhaul. I had thought about a rubberized coating similar to bedliner. What are your thoughts on this plastic dip and its use with iron?
Ceb this is what I used. I bought it at our local Ace Hardware Store. Also the holder are closer than they appear. My old one were on the front deck and they were too far away.Quote:

Thanks, Slick. I'll be sure to check that out.
