One of "those" days

My daughter andI went out for about 2 hrs. Not a great day but I managed about 10 gills. They were holding on a 10 ft deep hump surrounded by 20 fow. Trout magnets at 5 ft under a float was what got them.
Now for one of those days we have from time to time. I caught them all. My daughter used various things including exactly what I was using. No dice. Nothing for her. She was 12 ft away from me fishing the same water. Some days just suck for no obvious reason.

It is strange sometimes how it works out. At the best you had a nice day with your daughter, so the trip was well worthwhile. I’m heading out to beat the heat very shortly.

Slight adjustments sometimes is the difference between catchn and not and even the angle at which the bait is presented..... Better luck for you daughter next time.....

it happens but have tried to give up my spot to kids or wife and even my pole and bait and then still ketchm instead of them. but usually they start ketchn too.
