I took my boys and a neighborhood stray kid last night and had zero luck. We set up at two locations. One under a bridge I have done well in the past, and another in a creek near main channel and hump. Marked down fish near both locations. Both spots had bait to light in about 15 min.
We had two bites in 4 hours.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Set up is not the issue. General places to start looking would be great. We fished near south fork last night.

I found fish on flats about 2/3rds way back in the creek today. I even caugh a few on the spawning grounds in water 8' deep. Try looking in places not too far (500-1000 yards) in15'-20' deep waterfrom the places the fish spawn during the spring. Stay over the creek channels when youre looking though.;)

Don’t really know why, but the upper and lower end of the lake has been slow for me for quite a while. The best fishing has been mid lake area.Quote:

My cousin caught a good mess Friday night. He had his 3 boys with him mid lake on Big Allison at 28 foot on flat bottom. I'd get set at 25 foot or so off a hump and drop deep and work my way up. I also would use a jig and slow reel it to the top until you found the zone they like. Very slow reeling a flick tail jig or minnow will work. Keep at it with the jigs changing until bingo the right color hits the mark. Good luck!
