Never seen anything like this. Local Walmart fishing tackle shelves are bare. I noticed Amazon is showing unavailable for certain fishing items too.

It had to happen, sign of the times, sad!
My wife went to Academy several days ago to pick up a filet glove, and said their lure aisles were really bare.
She said we had more tackle than they did, but then added that we did before all this happened, too.

Wow, I’m glad I stocked up at the beginning of the season. What with COVID-19, I have been staying away from the stores as much as possible. Those aisles did look picked clean.
Same at my local Walmart. All was good until about two weekends ago. Since that, the shelves have been mostly bare.
No shortages at my local Walmart. Last time I checked, a few items were low but nothing drastic.
We were in Springfield,MO at BPS a couple weekends ago on our way to Table Rock and why it wasn't bare there was a lot of empty spaces.

Walmarts and Academy ain't restocking here in Wichita. Glad I'm stocked up on everything.
