Now that the panfish have left the shallows and are in the deeper weeds I will start using a lite Bottom bouncer rig. The BB are 1/8 and 1/2 once and I use them to tick the weed tops. I use a 4 to 6 foot fluorocarbon 6 lb leader.

Nice setup. You have a good idea there.
Some of the guys here also use a plastic worm sinker and a floater for weed fishing.
You used to be able to buy floating jig heads with a reversed eye ,but no more, it is DIY now.
Deep weed fishing can be a pain but very effective at times.
I like the idea and bet they will catch fish
