Well yes and no ,depending on your perspective I suppose . I only put ONLY one crappie in the ice chest the other day …...:yikes
But to be sure I wasn't after crappie to put in the ice chest either and it wasn't like I didn't spank them pretty good . It was a case of oh what the heck its a pretty large one and I imagine the folks I am giving the bluegill to wont mind it being in there . I mean heck I put a channel cat in there with them bream to ,so why not right ? :Rofl
So the story begins , Went to my buds Ez's place after the work the other day to enjoy some hanging around with him and eating a few chili dogs and ketchn a few fish .
We managed to ketch lots of fish as per the norm and lots of small fish for sure . Ez managed to ketch a real big bluegill and EVEN managed to ketch him a pretty good crappie on a hotdog when we hit the bridge chasing the bluegill !
The mission was to eat chili dogs ,ketch bluegill and maybe a crappie or 2 and to be sure it was mission accomplished . We put around 40 bream in the ice chest and had a pretty darn good time . Found not many bream on the bridge and lots of crappie and lots of bream at the dock . A few channel cat got in on the action and in the end we loaded up the ice chest in the radio flyer and took said ice chest to some folks that were in need of some fresh fish .

p.s. I fed the crappie big jigs and lil jigs ,they didn't seem to be to terribly picky on what they wanted and of course the bluegill ate some hotdogs with us :Rofl
