Larto Report

Went to Larto yesterday. Put in at Bud’s. They sure are nice people! Fished Shad Lake area only landed one. It was a large female, at least a pound. Lost two more just like that one trying swing them in instead of netting them. Had a report of a place I’ve never been, made a long boat ride. Clearer water(water in Shad Lake was a bit stained with a current). No crappie, but started catching large bream on shiners. Started using 1/3 of a shiner and it was on! Caught about 20 big bluegills in an hour. Nice day. I was missing Larto. Attachment 375836Attachment 375837
I even caught one on a fly that I tied. It’s called a Jitterbee!

Nice! Been waiting on a Larto report. Yes Lance and Stacy at uncle Buds are supper nice people! Is the water still high?

Not very high. I don’t know exactly. See Larto stage forecast on here. Maybe 4-6 feet high. It’s falling, so if we don’t get too much rain, should come on down. Just looked at Mississippi River and it is falling pretty fast. I caught the bream in the front yard of a couple camps.

The lake is about 5 are so foot above pool stage should get ugllly pretty quick. Ps if there’s no mo big water coming
