I just bought a terrova with the us2 transducer hooked it up to my lowrance hd8, seems the sonar leaves a lot to desire , screen is very coarse compared to same type of unit at stern of boat with a lowrance transducer Is this typical , has anyone else seen this problem also. or am I missing some tweaking in the menue ? any help would be appreceated
The us2 is a standard transducer 83/200 not down imaging. My lowrance has a setting to select the ducer. After that you can play with settings and sensitivity to make the image better. For standard sonar, I cant tell the difference from my us2 or the lowrance on my stern.
“Installation” in the Sonar Menu select “Generic 83kHz/200kHz”

thanks guys will give those a shot have already tried the different khz and sensetivity settings but will try again
