If the beads fit a little loose do you could just build up the diameter of the hook with thread.

Glass beads are funny in the sense that there are plenty out of round. Also hole diameter is not consistent. They do out shine any plastic bead I even saw. Some have what looks like the hole is tinned so I think this causes the diameter problem. Czech beads seem to be close to round but hole size varies a bit. What I try to do as I am tapering the thread the last bit I try to line the beads with my thumbnail. Sometimes it works and sometimes they are too tight to move. I coat the thread with a bit of Sally Hansen so that should lock them.Quote:
