Got to take my wife out for crappie fishing on Mother’s Day evening. She got to catch her first crappie jigging under dock. At the end she caught about 6 and of course I had a blast caught about 15-20 casting into school of shad. Also got to help another mother and her your kid caught their first crappie ever. What a fun evening got to spend time with wife on the thing I love to do.
Oh and a selfie time lol, haven’t show my ugly face here for awhile.
Sounds like a good day was had by all. Nice Crappie also.

You gotta see my face, when that little girl horsing in crappie across the water like a pro in FLW. She almost flip that 12” crappie on the dock. The problem is she was using My favorite Shimano Crucial rod which I cannot find it anymore lol.Quote:

I can cast 1.5 gram with baby shad a good 75 feet up and more accuracy. Pairing with Tatula 2000 LT and 6lb Nanofil, I have to give second look to all my 5 baitcaster crappie setup. I slayed them good yesterday with 14” slab for my last fish.
