Anybody Crappie Fishing

Is anybody crappie fishing...just wandering haven't seen any recent posts. I went Thursday and got skunked. Thanks for any advice. Is it time to fish for another species?

I went Thursday caught a 12 inch fish and a couple of short fish under the docks. I wanted to be on the water today in search of bedding gills and crackers. Woke up with my knee hurting and didn't think being on the boat was a good idea.

It was a bright clear moon

I was out Friday and Saturday evenings chick. Caught 4 keeper crappie on white crappie magnets last Friday. Caught 3 on last Saturday on white/chartreuse crappie magnet. I caught a few short crappie Friday and no shorts on Saturday. People I talked to each day didn’t have any luck. Everyone said the fishing was hard. I ended up getting into two schools of LM ranging from 2 to 4.3 lbs on Friday. Caught 14 in a half hour. That was a blast but wasn’t what I was looking for.
