why not
little bitty sunfish beats no ketchn fish I guess
but it was a struggle to ketch even a few little ones
not sure why but they made me work for a few pecky bites
tried 2 locations on lunch break and the size and bite was the same
not much KABOOM for sure :Rofl
p.s. the good news is mister night time chicken hawk failed to get one of my egg layers the night before and we had a few words and off he went , probably a good thing he left without a fight , the last time I got into to it with a big owl when I was a teenager I bought couldn't get the dang thing off me :yikes

Working from home so I don't have time to get out to the places I usually fish for big bream. Going to try and hit the city park today or tomorrow to try out my new Okuma/Daiwa combo with 2 lb. Trilene XL and any bream or crappie I catch there won't be much larger than those. Still fun to feel the peck on the Trout Magnet though.

Good looking Pannies, waiting patiently for them to congregate in numbers here in TN. I too can stick a few in the creeks, but not much lake action yet.

Yes, better than nothing for sure. This cold snap really pushed the sunfish off the banks around here. Monday and Tuesday we scanned a 1000 acre lake that I manage for the purpose of creating a bathymetric map for the us and the public. I scanned the entire shoreline (about 4 hours) and did not see a single brim bed with the side scan. This is unusual this time a year in Arkansas. Angers were catching many either. It will warm up soon and it will be game on!
