Livescope transducer angle?

I've noticed a lot of you have the Livescope transducer mounted on a mount separate from the trolling motor. My question is does the transducer angle make much difference in the quality of the image? My Livescope has the ghosting effects along with a dead zone, mine is mounted on an Ultrex on a Triton bass boat. What I've read and seen in videos is the Ultrex is 3.5 degrees off level and the Triton bow is 5 degrees downward. I'm thinking that I need to correct this first then if the problem continues contact Garmin. What's is y'all's thought on this? The picture is terrible, taking by phone and it had been raining but you can definitely see the dead zone.

Have you tried adjusting gain and changing TV settings to see if it helps?

I'm planning on going to the lake tomorrow to try some different settings, what was your noise rejection setting?

What model is that? Pic looks pretty good to me! Plenty enough to find the fish!

In the first picture the stake bed return is missing, in the second picture the front stake bed is return is missing. Any suggestions?
I'm using software version 2.10, dedicated 60AH lithium battery with 10ga wire ran to the GLS10 and 93SV Plus.

The second picture I adjusted several settings, turned the gain up still nothing I tried eliminated the dead zone.

Greenwing, I have Echomap 93svand Livescope now for almost a year. Had it mounted on the TM shaft, portside (left) for about a month. Got the "Poleducer" with 2.5" rammount and really like it. I had to use the Garmin mount so it had the 8* cantangle. I never noticed the "Ghost tree" as it is called. I havever.2.10 for LS, haven't updated to 2.33 yet because of issues some areexperiencing. Well I got the Summit mount for perspective view last Friday andit doesn't use the Garmin 8* cant shaft mount, so it will be 0* (no cant)in fwd./down view by default. Went to lake Saturday to test it. In forward view 0*no cant there it was… the “Ghost Tree”!!! First time I’ve seen it on my unit. I slid the pole up and adjusted thetransducer to be about 8* cant angle, slid it back down and the ghost tree wasgone!! I put it back to 0* (no cant angle) and the ghost tree came back so the8* cant design apparently is required regardless of where it is mounted.
In"down view" with transducer in perspective view angle (horizontal)using the 2.10 ver. software. Well it worked and the view was surprisinglygood. Fish and structure was good. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos but Iwill next time out. Just wanted to share.
