This is a much easier process and a much nicer two minute video on the CARTER SLIP FLOAT. These will support a 1/64 ounce jig as well as a 1/4 ounce jig and all weights in between those sizes. Hope you all enjoy it.

Thank you so much for the video Mike I really enjoyed it and learned quite a bit and I'm gonna have to get me some Foam tubing I guess I'll have to call mine Bob float.
People, many people who fish soft plastics do so under a float. That's why I posted a float here in this forum. It does not fit under hand tied jigs or under jig heads. Somebody might get something from the video.

Snake River, for a sleek look after you make the bobbers, take a serrated fillet knife and trim the bobber s to a final size of about 1/2 inch by four inches. They still will be light as a feather and support egg sinker weights from 1/64th ounce to 1/4 ounce. The greater the weight, the farther it will cast away from the boat or from the shore. Attach your jig and soft plastic trailer and go fishing.

Mike I think you can buy the foam noodles in the craft store already made to the size that you cut them down to I will check and get back to you.
You cannot beat the Dollar Tree price for a pool noodle that will make almost one hundred or more floats.Quote:

Bob, I liked the idea of adding the different topper back on to the stem. Here it is. Just thread your coat hanger up through the bobber and through the next color noodle. Again, just top it with super glue.

Question....do they really have to be that long to float a quarter ounce jig ? Just wondered....i might do some experimenting.
They would float it at 2.5 inches. I just made them 4.0 inches so I would have more above the water visability for these 74 year old eyes.Quote:
