I would swear the spawn is winding down myself , but we managed a bunch of fish in a fairly small water body all over a shallow flat /road bed that were flat full of bright yellow eggs and the guy that invited me was asking me why they were not spawned out in there ? I was like heck these here fish seem to spawn off and on for months and months ….and it wasn't just white crappie in there full of eggs the blacks were full of eggs also ?
I told him maybe by June …..delayed due to the quarantine /lock dawn stay at home venue maybe ? :dono

We found a bunch yesterday still full of eggs. Seemed mostly white crappie though.
the crappie in north texas have just went into lose them little crappie minds in several spots ….just saying
