If you've gone out lately and are located in the south I'd love to hear a report. Would love pics from anybody. Where are your fish located(depth, structure, etc), water temp, bait ......?

Most of these bream were caught on a Cricket Hopper. What I caught on live crickets were 2 to 2.5 feet deep and all were males. I was fishing an Oxbow lake off the Altamaha River in Southeast Ga. The bite was slow and I caught plenty of smaller than hand sized fish but I had a good time anyway.

You got some good sized ones birddog.
My boy and me went out yesterday evening after the storm here in Arkansas. We caught about 60 on our fly rods but only 16 were big enough to filet. One redear big enough the others were copper nose bream. It is getting good. Most of these fish were on the beds and we caught them on the bream special.
I actually was working on brush piles on Ouachita. But, after the work, I threw black 1/16 oz Rooster tails where bream normally bed. I caught around a dozen each day just messing around. They probably weighed between 1/2 and 3/4 lbs. I sure love catching them on Ultra light though.
