Got my livescope mount made

Now just waiting on the new ram mount that I’m going to use to put it out front just have it by the consul because I happen to have a ram out there I wanted to see how it would look probably going to paint the PVC black
Anybody got any good info on how to drill the hole through the carpet on a bass boat. Got to go into the rod locker box where my black box is and have never drill through carpet like that

Jim, if those are plastic wire tie’s, cut them off and electrical tape the cable to pole. Everything I am reading says there are some tiny wires in there that can be damaged by wire tie’s.
