Had a few minutes before sunset to cast around a brush pile (not many where I fish). Some casts close to the pile yielded nothing. I pitched right into the pile. Upon reeling up I thought I was snagged. But no, it was a fish. They were holding tight. Was able to pull several more out before calling it a night.

Nice looking fish. I went a little while this morning early and they were smack dab in the middle of the brush. Water temperatures at 67, you know what they were up to :biggrin
Caught a gill earlier in the day with a Senko right in a blow down. I should have know they were in there.
Looks like fun to me, bet it was good to get out and find them.
The weather was nice. Would have been worth it even if I hadn't caught any!
