Lemon has lost its majority of crappie. I used to catch quite a few over 15” but not anymore. You might catch one or 2 but it’s because of the fishing pressure especially last year when all the other lakes were flooded through July and Lemon wasn’t. It was hammered last year all year long. How much pressure can a shallow 2000 acre lake take? Your seeing it. This year, 7 days a week, crammed as once again several lakes are experiencing high and muddy water. With everybody stuck off work and at home, your seeing young people with all the kids and I even saw one young mom put a baby in the car seat in the bass boat and that baby couldn’t have been 6-8 months old. Canoes, kayaks, small 10 and 12’ boats overloaded. It is a absolute zoo. Don’t expect the fishing to last as it is not Going to. Eventually I’m thinking the State will shut us all down. Here is a new update from the State.
