so not being to educated, what exactly does this mean in no government speak?
Could result in a loud whine from the LOZ area.
It means they're not going to do the planned spring floods. Hopefully we've already seen the worst of it.Quote:

Well it's a start. Still not the best way to handle it IMO. Seems LOZ can pull down 6ft or so every year why can't the Corps pull all their lakes down 5-10ft in anticipation of the spring rain. That way you still have a slow rise while filling the lake back up for fish as they say but more storage capacity before they start running into issues with flooding. Their logic is improving but still flawed in my eyes. Seems like a pretty simple solution.
I agree, their "normal" pool and mine arent quite the same. I always think of normal as 10ft high
