Caught a couple crappies in the James last Sunday before heading up river to Richmond. Pretty sweet to get out and use the new side imaging to locate fish.
Oh yea. Love April in Richmond. Hickory and American shad, Herring, white perch by the 1000's. How was the shad fishing?
Hello Daton, I am back home from Florida but had to head to PA because my mom died on 3/11.
I was out for the first time sense coming home on Tuesday. I fished the James out of Osborn landing and had some luck. Caught 13 real nice dark males. The winds are keeping me from going this week. Hope you and yours stay safe and I hope to see you on the water. Attachment 370849Attachment 370850

Shad were there as well as the perch. The current was blazing through there and I didn’t have all my gear. I used a modified sabiki rig and 3/4 oz bell sinker. My partner caught the skunk and I had 50 or so in two hours. Anchored up in the shade under 95 bridge.
