Jig Pulling Depth Chart Info

A while back Benard Williams posted a chart that he had developed which had good information for pulling 1/16 oz jigs. The information has been very good targeting fish down to about 16 feet. To reach fish down at 20 to 24 feet you have to slow down so much that the hook up ratio is about 1 in 4 strikes. Looking to see if anyone has developed any charts for 2 1/8oz or 2 1/4oz jigs. Guessing that the additional weight will accomplish desired depths at greater speed to increase the amount of hook ups. Appreciate any insight. Thanks

Your on the right track I don’t have a chart but to reach deeper waters go heavier . Same aspect if you going shallower go lighter. I’m a double jig runner so I had prefer to run doubles but some folks run a split shot up above the jig to reach deeper depths . You also can adjust depth by running shorter or longer lines or speed up/ slowdown . Just play with it the more you do it the easier it will become! Hope this helps ya
