Livescope mount question

I am putting my transducer on a pole, not the trolling motor. do I need to buy another mount that is not offset?

The 8° offset bracket that comes with LiveScope is designed to aim the beam “around” the trolling motor barrel when mounted to the TM shaft ...

It will still work fine on a separate pole mount ...
