I went today for a little while. I started off spider rigging with all Merabu jigs tied on. After a while I noticed all my jigs were almost the same color as the water, even chartreuse and pink looked like mud. I switched over to plastics which did not stain like the Merabu. Next time the water is muddy I will start with plastics. Today the fish did not seem to want Merabu or plastic and the skunk was on.
I fish plastic. I think it’s personal preference. Whatever you have confidence in. Ditch fishes marabou. He probably catches more fish than me though. Lol
Lol I got a feeling if it was so muddy you jigs where changing colors it was to muddy to fish anyway. I would try to find some clean water.

Lowe175 I think you are probably right. Now some Slabsauce on the merabu jigs is about the only thing I can think of that would probably help.
