What is your favorite trailer for roadrunner?
To me I found too much action like paddle tail or grub not getting a lot of bite unless big one around. The most success I got from baby shad type.

Same here , 2 inch straight tail shad body.
Then ya'll are gonna love it when I start the newest batch of Road Runner contests in a couple of months !! Some of them will feature the Slab Runner ... Road Runner 1/16oz jighead, Bobby Garland Shad body, & #2 hook :yikes

Now, to answer the question : For me, I like a marabou tail ... simple & effective !!
1/32 or 1/16 with Fle-fly, go-go minnow, perfect pearl . Tennie tails by Mr. twister . 1 inch black sliders on a 1/32 road runner .

My way of thinking is the Roadrunners very best tail is marabou! Have fish them like that since the 1970's.
