Wister 2020
Did some "Social Distancing" on Wister yesterday and had a blast. Even with the lake being 9' high we found fish and they wanted to eat.
They were scattered and suspended in the flats, out of the current, 10-12' fow. Gotta hunt them down.
Those eggs are starting to look pretty ripe too.
What a great day spent with great friends!

Got on Wister again today. Tougher to find the good sized fish the last two trips. My hunch is they've mostly started staging in the flooded tree's since the lake is over 12' high still.
Wound up with 19 in the LW and had a blast picking off the few roamers we could find.

One of my favorite lakes. I don't fish it enough. Cabins are rustic but pretty nice.

I love the cabins, especially the ones on the north side of the lake.
They are newer.
My #2 lake in the state!
I killed them there, this time of year last year, with the water high.

They only had 1 cabin available so I took it. Not knowing of any reports I’m taking my whole arsenal. Jigging poles, spider rigging. Crankbaits. It’s all going
