My cousin and I are gonna hit up Booneville City Lake I the morning. It’s the one right off of Hwy 23 North of Booneville. Has anyone ever had any luck fishing it? If we don’t do anything here we may run over to Paris and fish the City Lake. I’ve never been on either one.
I've driven by him many times on the way to Blue Mountain and wondered if it were any good. I have seen kayaks down there from time to time.
I have a family member that fishes Paris quite a bit. It has some good crappie. I’ve only fished it once and we were targeting the red ear. We got into spawning redear and had a blast.
We hit both the other day and caught some small bass and a couple of nice crappie. I spoke to some folks that said there are some nice crappie in both.
Paris has lots of small Bass according to a Bass fisherman I know .
