By the amount of trucks I see at the gas station every morning this week they either biting or rumored to be

They are catching some fish but they are very scattered with the high water. A ranger told me yesterday that they're dropping the lake around 6 inches a day right now. The landing at the west end of the dam and Gin Creek landings are usable but crowded. I'm gonna give it another week.

Yep they are scattered! Caught fish from 6 ft to 2 1/2 ft .... edges of the grass to up in the bushes. We had 39 today... saw two others limit out.

I second that. We fished today and caught 30. Fish were scattered. Our best success was in 10 fow, but we saw most people catching a few single poling the bushes. Our problem was finding quality fish. The ramp at Pine Springs was good.
