Purple minnow heads.

Minnow heads, 1/8 oz × Matzou #4,
Electric blue / Flo Green on top and
Purple/ Pearl chartreuse on the bottom. Silicone tails from my bass jig skirt collection. Tied them this afternoon.

Very nice Tom. I’m a sucker for a minnow head. Purple glitter back on a chartreuse body is one of my best cranks, and this will be no different.if I can offer an idea; 3 or 4 strands of pearl dead center on the bottom. Just what ran through my head when I saw it. Really like the fuzzy look on the chenille, also help slow the fall some. Now I gotta have some........

Skeetbum there is some flashabou accent in the bottom one but probably not enough. I've been on this silicone tail for a while now. Guess it will pass after a while. I used to make a lot of bass jigs and spinnerbaits and have a collection of many silicone strips to play around with. I just love to experiment and get many ideas from all the members of crappie. com. Keeps my old brain working!
