Many of yall may have fished Diascund since "Old man Walls" rented those 2 ton boats and used the ramp near the dam. One thing i think is missing, facilities. I called NN Parks and rec about it and was told that no one has ever called about it before. So, if this is something you would be interested in call 757-259-5360. If a few more calls come in there may be at least a porta-potty to use.

UPDATE:
I called Newport News Water Works and today they got back to me. I was told that vdgif owns and operates the ramp and pier. James City Co. Parks and Rec. owns the park around the ramp. Newport News Water Works owns the resevior and surrounding lands. A fellow by the name of Andrew Rich 757 234 4863 was who i spoke with. He also told me that he was aware of the problem, as well as the people at jccp&r and would bring it up again when they meet next. Keep those calls going, lets get a portajohn put in place.
