Last day of this weeks vacation. Wanted to take my son out this last day off. Wind gusts up to 20mph made it really hard to control the boat but we finally got it down. I ran the boat full time and Bryce did almost all the rod/fish work. Get off the motor and the wind would get you instantly. Sometimes the wind would push you backwards with the TM set on 50-60%. Really had to make sure you didn’t get sideways. Same pattern but the shallow areas we fished Tuesday were a no go. Spent the whole morning tucked in a hollow area where it would give you little breaks to slow the bait and get bit. Not as large as Wednesday but couldn’t be picky. Had a small blue cat and 29 Crappie due to me pulling 2 beads on 1 fish. Great day with Bryce. Done by 2:30.
