Richard Gene and I_fish
Just watched an entertaining video by Richard Gene. Most of his videos are that way but this one was a bit different. Normally he uses tackle that he’s had for years. He’s a very sensible, common man and I don’t believe he’s sponsored by any company. What he does receive is from his subscribers, and some of its very nice. I_fish has sent him a Truzer JDM rod for him to use, and it’s in this video. Not tons of fish but I look forward to seeing it more in the future. I have to shout out an ATTABOY to both of them for yet another installment in our education. They both do a very good job. I know someone will help me by posting a link to the video soon, some things I just haven’t figured out on this IPad yet.

I watch Richard Gene the Fishing Machine too. He is entertaining, informative, and a little goofy too (but that’s alright to me). Since I started watching has videos, I have learned to throw a cast net. This summer, I plan to fish with more live crawfish too. That guy can flat out catch some fish.

Richard Gene is certainly a "no nonsense" and "down to earth" "good ole' boy" that views fishing in its most basic form. IMO he succeeds because he continuously practices the fundamentals and simply refuses to get caught up in the commercialism and the complexities of fishing the way most fisherman do... and "that's all they are to it right there".

Super video. I also watch I_fish on Youtube. Some really good instructional vids there.

His passion for the sport is second to none. He can flat out get er done, too! How cool would it be if Gene became addicted to JDM gear!!!

I also enjoy Richard Gene, down to earth, simple techniques, affordable equipment and very informative. Glad to see him get some pub on Crappie.com. On one of his videos he stated that he's not sponsored by any companies and often use equipment/lures/jigs/etc... sent to him by subscribers. I hope he continues providing videos. I'm going to look at some of I_Fish videos as I'm a good bluegill/redear fisherman but have a lot to learn on crappie/sacalait and am picking up on it by watching videos and of course getting on the water.
