Not fishing related but...
Last week as I was walking out of work to go to lunch, I was waiting on the light to change so I could cross the street, and I saw a car slowly come up to the intersection. It cruised through the intersection before slowly coming to a stop on the middle of the street. The driver then jumped out and began to push. I decided to go help as it was a big vehicle (GMC Acadia) and he was by himself. We pushed a little ways and I thought he was just going to steer it to the side of the road, and go get some gas in a can and come back. I was wrong... he kept pushing. Past that block, past the next block, another person saw us and jumped in to help us push. We ended up pushing the vehicle 4 blocks to the nearest gas station. It was only when we finally rolled to a stop at the gas station that we noticed the driver, was DEAF. He couldn’t hear us asking to stop or questioning him. He was trying to use sign language but neither myself of the other pusher knew sign language, so the driver bowed and shook our hands, and we went our separate ways. Wasn’t what I woke up expecting to do that day, but definently made me feel better!
I know it’s not fishing related, but just wanted to share the story.
