Any tips on finding brush piles? We had good luck on docks last year but struck out looking for piles. Not looking for specific spots just helpful tips if willing to share. Thanks!

There are literally multiple thousands of piles set out on that lake . The tpw set condos under one of the bridges as well . Most piles are in around 15 fow of water not far off the banks . Si along the banks on the east side of the lake in coves .
The lake record crappie came off a bridge out there and I lost one myself that was very similar in size on another bridge over there .
The bite is great along the dam during the spawn in around 10 fow btw .
luck to ya and KABOOM is the word
Welcome to the board.......
Thanks for the tips! The dam isn’t far from us
set off the rocks in the area close to the concrete structure in around 12 foot of water soon . be totally legal as the law enforcement likes to check boats that show up in numbers there this time of year .
drop a bait.... jig or minnow down around the boat in deeper water and also fish floats about 4 to 6 foot deep off the rocks as well .
my last visit with loaded the ice chest with fat black crappie along that rip rap in the spring .
Thanks for all the tips. Will give it a try this weekend
